- Authorized for flight, day or night, in an expanding list of controlled airspaces across the Gulf Coast
With the advent of LAANC (Low Altitude Authorization & Notification Capability), authorization to fly in the controlled airspaces around a great many airports can be obtained by Certified Remote Pilots in near real-time with LAANC-enabled apps. However, remote pilots must apply for authorization to fly in non-LAANC-enabled airspaces. And night flight in all controlled airspaces requires FAA authorization via the standard application process. Reflected Incident has obtained authorization to fly in all non-LAANC-enabled controlled airspaces from New Orleans, LA eastward to Pensacola, FL, as well as night flight in those and the LAANC-enabled airspaces in the same region.
- Night Flight Operational Waiver
Under Operational Waiver 107W-2019-01370, valid until August 2023, Reflected Incident is authorized to fly outside of daylight hours in all uncontrolled airspaces, and has used the waiver to request and receive authorization to fly at night in all controlled airspaces from New Orleans, LA to Pensacola, FL. Requests are pending for other airspaces as well.
- State of the art drone equipment
Reflected Incident uses both the DJI Phantom 3 Professional as well as the DJI Air 2S. Both capable of crystal clear still photography and 4K and HD video in a variety of frame rates.
